Mandatory Body Cameras for Alabama Police Officers

There are way to many unanswered police issues and police brutality especially in the black community. People are being killed daily by the hands of the police. In most cases we only have the words of the Police to tell the story. Law enforcement has a duty to protect and serve but we as people have the right to hold law enforcement accountable for their own actions when those duties are not being met. There is a huge lack of trust and fear between people and the police. Therefore while police officers are on duty, body cameras should be worn at all times. This is only the begining but i believe it will be a start to help bridge the gap between the our community and the police. In order for change we have to start somewhere.
