Dear Parents of Citrus Elementary,
I am writing to bring your attention to the elimination of Ms. Sellers’ position from Citrus Elementary. In our estimation, this would be a travesty to the children in need of Ms. Sellers’ services. During the past couple of years many students and their parents have benefited from Ms. Sellers guidance, counseling and input to help them influence their child’s behavior for the better.
To eliminate her position at the school would severely compromise the students, parents, teachers and family’s source of help for their child’s behavioral challenges. Ms. Sellers helps many children at Citrus with a wide range of challenges. Such as: anxiety, outbursts, meltdowns, death, divorce, and much more. We strongly support she be retained in her position so that these children will have better successful school careers straight through 5th grade graduation.
Please help support Ms. Sellers’ retention at Citrus Elementary by signing this petition and leaving at statement on how having a guidance counselor at the school is beneficial. Thank you for your time and support in this matter.
