Students of band deserve the right to rehearse in the band area during Academic Lab

Band members have been denied the right to use the band area as a rehearsal space. We lost that right when non-members abused our rehearsal space. The Orchestra and Choir programs are using this area, while we agree that they have the right to use that are, so should we. We agree that if we are in the band area we should be using it for rehearsal purposes and should be supervised at all times. Our marching band season has suffered greatly without the use of rehearsal during academic labs and we fear for the future generations of our band. We also feel that if you have the right to go and practice in an area that you struggle with such as English, Math, or Science we deserve the same right to practice the music we are struggling with. Please give us the right to rehearse that every other fine arts program has.
