Stand with Survivors of Sexual Assault

I am a survivor of sexual assault and as such, Trump's win felt like a slap in the face. 

A man who has been accused of and bragged about assaulting women is going to be the leader of the United States of America. This fact has survivors like me reliving their trauma, questioning themselves and hurting deeply knowing that to some extent, parts of this country do not think these facts are a disqualifying factor for a leader. 

Now more than ever, we need to show survivors that we are with them. We need to tell them that assault is wrong and we don't accept it as a normal part of society.
