We want a Poker Room at our Casino in Victoria, B.C.

I am petitioning the Provincial Gov't of B.C. (BCLC....B.C. Lottery Commission), to implement a Poker Room Venue at our local Casino in Victoria. We are the capital city of our province, and one of the few cities without a poker venue!! Millions of taxpayer dollars were recently spent on an extensive parking lot expansion for the Casino....and it's nearly always empty!  We say, put in a large poker room with 50+ tables and let's put our great city of Victoria on the map!  The Casino would take a percentage as a rake.  This would far outweigh the dollars they are bringing in as a slot machine palace for seniors.  We could become a regular venue for the Canadian Poker Tour, the WSOP, and many others!  (In between tournaments, the tables would be used for cash games for many local players).  We have a beautiful city, let's showcase it.  Open our city up to these tournaments, and toursism dollars flow into the city.  Interested parties, please sign and forward to fellow poker players in our city. We can make it happen. There is power in numbers!
