Stop increase in height of Shell Cove Marina Precinct

We the residents of Shell Cove and nearby suburbs wish to stop the proposed increase in building height within the Marina Precinct. Fraser Property Australia have proposed to significantly increase the heights of several buildings within the Shell Cove Marina Precinct. This will increase overshadowing, particularly around the marina foreshore and adjacent buildings, because the said increases have a north-south alignment. It will create overcrowding and will reduce the enjoyment of amenities and foreshore afforded to all Shell Cove residence and visitors. The height increases will forever change the village atmosphere and the environment that is so precious to the broader South Coast community. We accept change but not at the expense of overcrowding and subsequent undue pressure on the coastal environment. It, the proposed development, will form an unacceptable physical barrier between the lowrise residential majority of Shell Cove, and the harbour and the beach.
