Change Tint Law Back

New York State law now states that tint on windows must be 70% or more. My boyfriend purchased a car in July 2016 with 12% tint on his windows. He was previously ticketed in February 2017 for other things except his windows. In March 2017 he was pulled over again and this time was ticketed for his tint. I understand that the law was changed for the safety of police officials. But if they feel unsafe because of the percentage of tint then we the prople should feel unsafe around them. Police vehicles in Syracuse NY are all tinted. We cant see into their vehicles how is this fair to us because they dont feel safe. I just want to see this law to be changed to at least 35% or even 40%. I respect the law but I think they should revise it or make it on every car in New York State. Not just civilians.
