Discredit Doctor Who Said Women Who Have Abortions Deserve to Die!

On his Facebook page, a doctor in Melbourne recently stated that women who seek abortions "deserve to die." In a tirade on social media, he likened a woman dying after receiving an illegal abortion to someone who "slipped and fell on her knife" as she tried to kill an infant. He also admitted that he did not always honor requests for abortion referral.

This admittance isn't just appalling from the perspective of someone who trusts doctors. It's also blatantly illegal. Victoria law requires doctors to refer patients elsewhere if they have a moral objection to giving someone an aborton. "Dr. K.," as the Australian media is calling him, knew this -- he said as much on his Facebook -- but still maintained that he saw no problem with his behavior.

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency recently investigated Dr. K., but their findings have not yet become public. Tell them to take away his license immediately!
