Petition to remove Vontaze Burfict from the NFL

On multiple occasions against various teams Vontaze Burfict has deliberately and purposefully tried to injure players. Most notably, blatantly targeting the head of Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, Antonio Brown, in the AFC wild card game on 01/09/2016. In addition to this act, Burfict deliberately dove at the knee/ankle area of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, and deliberately tried to injure him in a regular season game between the two teams. Also, Burfict has tried to injure others through purposeful acts. He twisted the ankles of and blatantly tried to injure Carolina Panthers tight end, Greg Olsen, and Panthers quarterback, Cam Newton in a regular season meeting between the teams. These acts are especially egregious due to the league-wide knowledge of long-term head injuries on players, and the fact that the deliberate intent to injure ankles, knees, and his targeting of the heads of opposing players would unequivocally be considered assault anywhere outside of the NFL. In addition, the deliberate intent to injure another human being in a game of football shows a lack of respect for other players, other teams, his own organization, the NFL, and the sport itself. Without a doubt, Vontaze Burfict is a danger to all players in the NFL and needs to be removed from the league immediately.
