Demand the Appointment of Marilyn Hite-Ross for State's Attorney on November 20, 2018

Winnebago County Democratic Caucus made a recommendation for the appointment of Deputy State's Attorney Marilyn Hite-Ross to State's Attorney but Chairman Frank Haney, disregarded the party's and the people's choice for the position. This is problematic because the County Board represents the voices of the constituents and the chairman totally disregarded the choice in making a different recommendation. We DEMAND the recommendation reflect the party's recommendation and people's voices by recommending the appointment of Deputy State's Attorney Marilyn Hite-Ross the most qualified and experience candidate who will not need any training for the position because has already been assisting with duties for the past ten years combined with 20 years of working for the Cook County State's Attorney as a 30 year veteran in fighting crimes of kinds in Winnebago and Cook Counties!
