Reimburse Cal State Amenity Fees

Due to the pandemic, California State Universities are switching to online for the fall semester. As students at CSUN, we received a statement with the tuition fees for the semester. Students are still being charged student activity and campus fees despite the campus being closed. These are fees that are not being put to essential use. As students we understand that there are staff that need to be paid and paying tuition will still be needed. However, forcing students to pay extra for items that are not available due to the school's closure is a financial burden most students cannot bear. With the recent circumstances with Covid-19, many students and their families are struggling financially as they work to get their degrees. Reimbursing these fees could give students anywhere between $200-$500, which could mean support for bills, internet connection, and other essentials to help get through this semester.
