Stop the Demolition of Our Cobourg Skate Park -- Keep It Open and Safe for Our Youth

The goal of this petition is to stop the pending demolition of the Cobourg Skate Park located in Donegan Park at 25 D'Arcy Street, attain repair reports from the Town, seek funding to repair it and keep it open and in good condition until the new park is completed.

The Town of Cobourg plans to build a new Skate Park, which they estimate will be completed in 2018.

Our Donegan Skate Park was closed recently due to safety concerns. It is scheduled for demolition very shortly. Many of us believe that the necessary repair costs are minimal and that funding should be allocated by the Town to keep it open. This will ensure that our youth continue to have a safe place to pursue their skateboard/scooter/bike recreational activities, while the new skate park is being built.

Please sign this petition and keep our kids safe and happy . . and not wheeling in the streets.

Follow our page on Facebook and help us deliver our message and concerns to the Town of Cobourg.
