I have started this petition on behalf of my husband Sundance Medicinehorn Keeble and his bid to get his sentences to run concurrently rather than consectivly. i truly believe that he has changed from who he used to be when he started serving his sentences to who he is today. Not only has he taken courses such as business and sociology courses to help when he is out but he has also taken courses in fatherhood, so that he can be the best possible father to his son that he can be and that of any future children that we may have, but he has also taken courses in anger management and sociology, so that not only could he help teach others from making bad decisions and choices in their lives but by taking those courses he has been able to learn the trigger points of many of his own choices and make the choice to not follow the same paths that he followed before.
He has been able to maintain not only a good relationship with his son but also very good relationships with his family and extended family, taking an active interest in them and how they are faring themselves. By signing this petition you would not only be helping Sundance and his goal to get his sentences to run concurrently, but you would also be helping his and our family by bringing a person that has the capability to be such a positive role model back into the fold of our family so that he can be in a place where he can be the most positive.
He has such a good support system in his family and would be such a positive role model to his family, that to have him home sooner would be for the positive rather than the negative. Since the time he has been in there he has managed to take care of all his outstanding debts and be there for his family in whatever way was possible. All we are asking is that he is given a chance to prove and all the good he can do, not only for himself and his family, but good also for those that are vunrable to the bad choices they may make as well. He wants to be able to help those that feel they have nothing and that no one cares about them, he wants to be able to show them that no matter what their circumstances are, that they themselves have the tools to rise above their circumstances and show other's that they deserve to have a voice of their own. What we are asking is that you sign so that Sundance can use his own voice for the positive and not the negative and that you find it in your hearts to give him that chance.
