Demand a Sidewalk for walking/biking access to and from schools

Many of children walk and ride bicycles to and from school with no current safe route without sidewalks. Sidewalks would keep our children off the main roads and off of homeowners lawns.

GREAT NEWS!!! There is a grant from the state of Texas that could fund the sidewalk!!! They city of Palmer has started the application process but needs to show the state that the residents of Palmer support the sidewalk. They are looking to send in signatures showing support by tomorrow, August 9th.

ONCE WE GET TO 100 SIGNATURES I WILL REQUEST A SPOT ON THE AGENDA AT THE NEXT CITY COUNCIL MEETING, TO MAKE IT HAPPEN FOR THE 8/21 MEETING WE NEED THE 100 SIGNATURES BY 8/13. NEXT COUNCIL MEETING WOULD BE 9/18 THEN 10/16.
