Demand a Leash Law in Fort Payne, Alabama

On December 7, my niece Emily Colvin was attacked and killed because her neighbors did not have their dogs confined to their yard. In May 2017, a Rainsville man suffered a near fatal attack by a neighborhood dog, just this month a women was bit here in Fort Payne while going for a walk. My sons are afraid to play in our yard because my neighbor will not contain their dogs even after some of them have killed other animals in my yard. Dog attacks are out of control. People should not be afraid to be in their yards or even walking on the streets.
