Allowing Students to Wear Shorts or Leggings

In the heat of Texas in August, and Spring, students get very hot in thick denim jeans, if we (the students) were able to wear shorts, it would be a lot cooler. In the cold winter, girls are not allowed to wear leggings even with a long shirt, however, leggings are not only comfortable but are light and warm. Another problem is that we aren't allowed to have holes in our jeans which ins understandable except if it is just one hole on each pant leg. Students should be allowed to wear shorts in the hotter months and leggings in the colder months to benefit our comfort, health and well being. Holes in jeans should be permitted because it is stylish yet still modest enough for school.
