Did you know in the state of Washington if two people do the same job they can pay the person with intellectual disabilities less than the person without a diagnosis. Even if the person with the disability does does the job better. There is no justifying discrimination of this sort. I always thought a disability was something that holds you back and in this case it is not the disability holding people down but society holding them back. People with disabilities need opportunity just as much as anyone else. I can't believe this is still legal in Washington. Shame on you Washington. Please sign to change this laws.
