Abolish predicted grades!

Predicted grades are the bases by which universities give out offers, however, different schools/colleges predict differently and it can be very biased. The percentage of people who actually achieve what their predictions were are extremely slim meaning that those that were overpredicted may not achieve the offer and had a sense of false hope and those that were underpredicted may have had their main dream and aspiration crushed and has in turn gone to something they are less passionate about. What I want to happen now is to abolish predictions and instead bring back AS level exams in order for universities to have hard evidence instead of predictions which are often very inaccurate.
