Land grabbing government wants to strip people of their land and livelihood. This is what is happening in rural Ireland in County Kerry. Ireland has a long history of people trying to conquer it and take away the land from the Irish people. That is exactly what the Irish government are doing to its own people. Our forefathers fought long and hard to retain our land and independence, and many died doing so. For those of you who do not know what a CPO is, it means Compulsory Purchase Order. That means the government can do what they want with your own land - a land that you worked hard for and that was passed down through generations and generations. The local government wants to build a recreational cycleway going through peoples lands, thus making their land useless. The local people have asked for an alternative route so they may keep their land in one piece and not divided in two, but the government decided against this and imposed the CPO.
Please sign my petition in urging the local government to lift the CPO and work with the local people and not against them. Help the Irish people fight for their land by signing this petition.
