Disabled Americans are denied benefits they qualify for while taxpayers pay for invalid medical exams by unqualified doctors and unnecessary paper and postage.
The only way to be catergorized as "disabled" is through SSD & Supplemental SS. I was diagnosed and been treated for PTSD by my County Behavioral Health Dept., which is under government HHS, for over 2 yrs.
Even though they have medical documentation from governmet health care providers, they choose to pay outside medical for "opinions" they are not qualified to make. They attempted to send me to unnamed doctors, one not qualified for the exam they wanted, in a business office at an industrial complex on a Sat. I received 6 letters containing 3-4 pages with the same info after informing them I needed names.
They refuse to communicate. I have been waiting 8 months. I discover that most claims are automatically denied. This is intentional. Some claims are appealed costing more tax money and people having to hire an attorney. Taxpayer money is wasted paying for unnecessary and invalid exams skewed to defraud people that meet their criteria for benefits. It's time to hold this agency accountable and stop defrauding disabled Americans.
