Reopen the West Norwich Hospital

Since this lovely hospital closed and our other hospital the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital closed making way for the new hospital the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital Trust , it has proven that the new hospital is just not big enough to cope with the city of Norwich and surrounding areas .The West Norwich Hospital looked after the elderly and those that were long time convalesing. Since the closure of another hospital Whitlingham Hospital a 107 bed unit for the elderly and the impact on the city of Norwich growing as a city with new homes and families .Is it not surprising the new hospital cannot cope .I believe funding should be made to reopen the West Norwich Hospital and bring it up to date to cater for the elderley and long instay patients .This would free up many blocked beds at the new hospital .
