Standardized Consent Education at Garfield

We want a mandatory week-long consent education lesson that is standardized throughout all health classes at Garfield. Our goal is that every single student will leave Garfield High School having understood this curriculum. We want consent education in our health classes to address the following within the 5 day lesson plan:
-Consent with regards to alcohol/underage drinking
-Defining explicit and implied consent
-Defining all different types of sexual assault on the spectrum (and how even acts that aren’t sex also require consent)
-Clearly defining age of consent laws
-The legal consequences of acting without someone else’s consent
-Steps to take when you see nonconsensual contact occur
-Steps to take after you are involved with nonconsensual contact
-Comprehensive list of resources for victims
