The movie the Forrest is highly offensive, the movie does not touch on depression nor suicides.
It's base on the suicide forest called "Aokigahara" in Japan many people including
teenagers have taken their lives. People committed suicide their over 30 years now and nobody in America gave a shit until someone made out of a fucking horror film now
They Americanize the movie into a shitty horror film, they made the lead character a white woman instead of a Japanese woman they don't give information about the forest or what happen, they don't mention the victims in it. People till this day still take their fucking lives in that forest, they are labeling as "the most terrifying place on earth" when it's not!
As a Feminist and a POC I think this movie should be boycotted and not showned, suicide is not for entertainment or an inspiration for your shitty horror film.
If someone made a horror film about something that happen in America everyone would lose their shit.
