Stop people on SSI from AVOIDING child support!

First off I am a parent of three beautiful boys. My two youngest kids are from my ex husband. He has been absent the past year and in my final divorce decree it was stated he had to pay to get bankruptcy on me for running bills up in my name. It was also stated he was to buy diapers for my kids. Well right after he moved out of state and M.I.A for a year and has just come back around. I have let him see the kid a few times since he came back. He gave me $50 and is refusing to pay anything else.

My issue that Ami would like changed is the whole SSI issue. I was told it is welfare because the person can't or Wont work and they can't afford child support. There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON WHY PEOPLE ON SSI CAN'T PAY CHILD SUPPORT. In being told it is welfare it is saying let them have as many kids as they want and never have to pay a dime! Its not about the money. Its about people living on ssi free and not have to worry about kids.

If you see a problem with people on SSI not having to pay child support then please sign. I hope they meant it when one voice can make a difference!
