What was supposed to be a routine school safety training, is now giving teachers literal nightmares. District administrators in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, showed a safety video to teachers, and the contents of the video traumatized them. The video depicted Prairie Grove teachers and their biological children as victims of a school shooting.

The principal and district superintendent have been placed on leave. But their actions have traumatized the teachers.
The video was designed to be "In Memoriam" style that said, "On Dec. 14, 2022, a gunman entered Prairie Grove Middle School." The "victims" were listed as the teachers' personal children, with photos taken from Facebook. The bizarre video was meant to imply that the teachers' own children died in a school shooting. To make matters worse, December 14 is the 10 year anniversary of Sandy Hook.
"It was absolutely chilling and disgusting," said one teacher. "I will never unhear the first gasp of the teacher. The first teacher that saw her personal blood-related child on the video. It was just horrifying. Absolutely chilling."
