Demand NBC starts a spin-off of Grimm

5 years ago on October 26, 2011, the world was intoduced to Grimm. Hundreds of thousands have watched Nick Burkhardt transform from the nice-guy cop into a dark, gritty murderer, and they loved it. Through multiple ups and downs, characters being killed off and brought back to life, cancellation rumors from as far back as Season 4, cast changes, new characters, story arcs and pregnancies, we have watched these characters grow and mature, and we loved it. Until August 2016. On August 29th, 2016, NBC officially confirmed that Grimm would be getting the axe, and throwing away hundreds of thousands of fans, both in the USA and internationally. There will be no Season 7, and that has been made clear by the writers multiple times. NBC sacrificed one of their best francises to make more budget room for Timeless or Emerald City, which I doubt will last more than their current season. However, the writers, David Greenwalt, Stephen Carpenter and Jim Kouf, have said there might be hope for a spin-off. It will never replace Season 7 of Grimm, but at least it's another step into the world of the Grimms and Wesen. Now, it's up to the fans of the show to tell the producers that this show needs to be made. We need to show them that the fans of Grimm want this spin-off, and that we would watch it if they did make it. So I call you to action. Sign this petition, and make your voice heard. Tell other fans about it, spread the word however you can. No matter what any studio executive says, 10,000 people can make a difference. Let's continue this show's legacy, and get it the exposure that it needs to get off the ground and eventually made into a series.
