Demand Thesaurus.com immediately remove "Christian" from synonyms for "ethical."

Because accuracy in communication is vital to human existence, it's important that a thesaurus is 100% flawless. This term should be removed from their web site as soon as possible, because listing "Christian" among the synonyms for "ethical" is demonstrably false for the following reasons:

First of all, it's not necessarily true. While many Christians are of course very virtuous, not all of them adhere to a strict code of ethics. American prisons are filled with Christians who have committed atrocious acts of immorality, so it's simply not accurate to imply that being Christian is equal to being ethical.

In fact, it's discriminatory to every other religion, because all religions include a system of ethics, which is generally based on The Golden Rule. It gives Christianity an unfair advantage over all other religions by implying it is the only one that is ethical. It is clear that unless all religions appear, no religions should appear.

Lastly, not one of the other five popular online thesauri (top search results on Google.com 5/6/19) places "Christian" in their list of suitable alternatives to "ethical." This includes Merriam-Webster, Macmillan, Collins, Oxford English and Roget's. Surely it is apparent that being an outlier in this area is a cause for concern, and this fact alone is cause for an internal inquiry to determine whether or not the word is actually appropriate. Hopefully, this petition will prompt them to take a closer look and decide the word has been mistakenly included.
