Have you ever had a job outside your home, for example babysitting or delivering paper? How were you treated on the jobs? did your employer treat you fairly and provide you with reasonable pay? Most of you have said yes and great, for many children and youth working in world, this isn't always the case. In 2004, about 250 million children between the ages of 5 and 14 were working jobs that ranged from farming to factory work to prostitution. Do you think this is how our children should be treated? Well, I think believe they shouldn't and believe that those who support it should be punished.
Globalization has increased economic competition and thus creating and putting idea's in the head's of company employers to hire children because they are easy to influence and control.
The children work for lower wages than others, they cant even protest against the unsafe working conditions they go through because they are too young. Not in all but in some societies children are expected to work. They do not have any work experience so they can easily be exploited.
These are only a few reason to why children are used for child labour. I hope you all see that we should not put our children thourgh this and allow them to get a education and have real jobs.
