Many parents have had issues with the new bus driver on how he handles the children. He does not seem to know how to talk to the children.
1. A parent complained to the school in regards to the bus driver grabbing a child's shirt. It was confirmed on video that the driver indeed pulled on the child's shirt. The parent was told that it was handled but yet the driver was there the following morning.
2. On warm days the driver has not put the a/c or have allowed the children to open windows. According to the driver it was to punish them for talking on the bus. To me it is my opinion this is more of a form of torture then punishment. And on one occasion I was told by children that he put the heat on rather then the a/c. Children could not wait to get off the bus because it was so hot. Also children got sick from the heat and felt nauseous due to the heat.
3. He has made multiple stops (on the side of a busy road) during the driver from school to the bus stops that are NOT bus stops. He will stop hard enough to have the children's head to jerk forward.
Now this bus driver is new to us only about a few months with us and I have found out from other parents on the stop before us that he did the exact same thing with their children and many complaints were called in to the school.
Now us parents are trying to get this driver terminated so that he does not get transferred to another stop just to do this to other children. These are kids PreK to 5th grade children and this is what the driver is doing. It is putting the children in an usafe environment. We are parents and only wanting the best for our children.
