Elena of Avalor Deserves Her Own Disney Movie and Considered a Disney Princess

In the new Disney movie, “Wreck It Ralph 2,” there is a scene where you see all the Disney Princesses, whether they have been crowned or not. Elena of Avalor is not within them. Elena premiered on a Disney Channel in 2016 as the first Latina Princess. She does not have her own Disney movie where she fights the villain and takes back her kingdom. Moana came out a year after her and is already a princess. Elena may have a television series, but she is still not considered a princess in the eyes of many. Disney continues to make money off of her, but has not given her the right to show her princess worth.
The Walt Disney Corporation created her, left her out of the movie, and appears to have forgotten of this Latina Princess. Sofia the first was meant to be the first Latina, but viewers believed that she should “meet” the General princess requirements that supposedly exist, like age or appearance. Therefore, they created Elena, who with the help of Sofia was able to reclaim her kingdom. She is still a princess.
What we really need is for Disney Corp. to create the Disney Princess movie Elena of Avalor deserves, not one where she needs another princess to help, but her own movie. Once this movie is made, Elena will finally begin to be treated and seen as an “official” Disney Princess.
I am a Latina girl who loves Elena because she’s not afraid to try new things, has to run the kingdom almost on her own, has no love interest, her animal sidekick is a Jaquin, and she sings (Maui’s princess qualifications). Elena seems to be forgotten and in some cases, unheard of. Most cultures are represented or have some say within the Disney Princesses, why not Latinos?
Please, it is about time Elena is given her proper moment.
