Lactation Station in the Solar Arts Building

Having access to a clean, comfortable, and private space for a mother to pump is an essential part of ensuring their ability to balance family and career without sacrificing the health of their baby. Currently, Indeed's home – and home to several artist studios – in the Solar Arts Building does not have an area that fits these needs. We have tried to work with our landlord to find a solution to the lack of such a space in the Solar Arts Building but he is not willing to accept our proposal, provide an explanation as to why, or propose an alternative solution. We believe in a woman's right to access to discrete and safe options for pumping so we're asking our community to help us illustrate how important this issue is by signing this petition for a Lactation Station in the Solar Arts Building.
