Petition to upgrade campus security with cameras

It has recently been revealed that SOU does not have security cameras in areas such as resident parking lots or housing entrances. This lack of security hinders the safety of the students and faculty on campus. There have been 2 incidents just in the past 2 weeks of vandalism inflicting thousands of dollars in damage to vehicles in the Shasta parking lots. We would like to see a more updated security system in place to ensure the safety of all persons and vehicles.
