The moment is now to reconcile our history with slavery and its consequences resulting in systemic racism and discrimination, a system which holds all of us back.


Establishing a Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans is an important first step towards collective repair and healing, which this region desperately needs. Let’s ensure that we are on the right side of history.


We must hold our administration accountable to starting the process of remedying historical and ongoing harms stemming from enslavement. Please join our collective call to newly elected Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey, to establish a Commission to Study and Develop Reparations proposals for Black people in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts via Executive Order immediately.
