Tell German Courts NOT to Forcibly Institutionalize 11-Year Old Transgender Girl!!!

Alexis Kaminsky was born in a male body, but always felt that she was female. Her mother, who is now separated from her father, understood her feelings and allowed her to live as the gender she naturally identified as – female.
Her father, who does not understand Alexis’ female gender identity, petitioned the German court system to gain custody of Alexis and have her forcibly “institutionalized” in order to “re-align” or "re-program" her gender identity to her male body and stop her from transitioning to her true female identity. The German court agreed with him.
It is simply impossible to change someone’s gender identity. There is a long history of people trying to “cure” or “forcibly correct” Transsexual people. Many Transsexual people throughout history were abused both physically and mentally abused but no one was ever “cured” – although many did end up committing suicide.
Please take the time to sign this petition to help convince the German court system to let Alexis live her life the way she knows she has to live it!
