Representative Doug LaMalfa REPRESENTS Congressional District 1. Multiple requests for a town hall have been made. To date, we have been told that Rep. Doug LaMalfa will not attend a town hall with his constituents in District 1, yet he's apparently attending a quiet little paid event on February 24th, at a golf course, with limited seating capacity, that is now sold-out.
He may want to ignore this, but that facts are that there is a large and rapidly growing constituency in District 1 who believe that Doug LaMalfa's voting record does not represent his district on important issues such as: The Affordable Care Act, women's rights and women's reproductive rights issues, immigration, local water issues, climate change, and gun safety.
Rep. LaMalfa, as voters, we deserve an opportunity to have an open town hall discussion with you, our representative. We'd like a transparent, peaceful, discussion. We hope you'll accept our invitation soon. It's been way too long.

Are you tired of not being heard by Representative Doug LaMalfa? Do you believe his voting record does not accurately reflect your values on issues like the Affordable Care Act, women's issues and reproductive rights, education, local water issues, the climate, gun safety?
If so, sign your name and demand a town hall. We request a respectful, transparent, conversation on issues that matter to us. We refuse to be ignored any longer in District 1. Quit hiding, Doug. We need to talk.
