Save Child Development Program at Sacramento City Unified School District

Superintendent Jose Aguilar of Sacramento City Unified School District decided to cut half of the child development program next year due to the SCUSD budget crisis. Our program has infant and toddler, preschool before and after school programs. Our program serves low income families and pregnant teens so they can go to work or/and continue their educations. Parents are concerned about where their children will be going next year. Some of the parent s might said " I have to reduce my work hours or pay high child care bills." because our all day program, before and after school program, and infant and toddler program will be eliminated.
