PETITION

We, the Florida teachers of FL Senate district 2, & FL House district 5 request that our lawmakers do the following:

1. Budget for across the board Teacher Salary increases as opposed to Teacher Bonuses.

2. Allow the school district superintendents to develop and implement their own individual, and much simpler Teacher Evaluation Tool.

3. Reduce the Teacher Recertification Requirements by 50% from 120 inservice points (the equivalent of 6 semester hours) to 60 inservice points (the equivalent of 3 semester hours).
