To whom it may concern ! My name is Raymond Walker, I am a coach for the W.N.Y. Bears little league football team. Our home field is located at (Scajacqua / Walden Park) where there is a senior citizen building located in the rear of the park! We the (Bears football team) are asking for your help and support with getting lights put up in the park. As you know the park is used for a number of things, upon speaking with some of the residents that live in the senior building and around the area we found out that there is a "(Mature Concern" about the lighting in the park. Seniors have been robbed, our club house has been vandelized,equipment and food have been taken numerise times and our kids can't play at the park when darkness falls. Please keep in mine with proper lighting this will help us as well as law-inforcement better view the activities in the park, We value your opinion and greatly appreciate beening able to use the park, but we would like for the park to be safe environment for everyone.
Dear Council-men Richard A. Fontana, it is so important for lighting in that area, with all the vandalism and young children getting high in the park after hours.Our senior need to what and who is around them.And our children need somewhere to play other than the streets.Most parks close @ 10 pm, and that would be satisfing.Thank You!!!
