A tea party group in Pennsylvania called Northeast Pennsylvania Spirit of 1776 is circulating a "joke" that shows the Founding Fathers beating up President Obama in Heaven for being a "radical, socialist leader". It also jokes about the conspiracy theory that Obama is really a Muslim.
In the "joke", President Obama who is "bleeding and in pain" says to the Angel, "This is not what you promised me". The Angel replies saying that Obama was promised 72 VIRGINIANS not virgins.
Obama has been the target of several assassination attempts and plots since he became a presidential candidate. That along with the fact that hate crimes are escalating against Muslims makes this kind of speech especially dangerous and offensive. Words are never just words.
Please tell Northeast Pennsylvania Spirit of 1776 to apologize for this "joke" about killing Obama!

Recently your group circulated a "joke" that shows the Founding Fathers beating up Obama after he dies and goes to Heaven. The "joke" then turns into talking about the conspiracy theory that Obama is a Muslim.
President Obama has been the target of assassination attempts and plots since he became a presidential candidate, and hate crimes against Muslims are escalating. This is dangerous and offensive -- words are never just words.
