Decriminalize Prostitution in Toronto

Everyone deserves the right to safety. Any individual who chooses to have prostitution as a profession should have the rights and protection as every citizen in any other profession. A solution to this is decriminalization of prostitution, which will make the laws against prostitution less oppressive allowing them to report any crime that is performed against them while on their job. It is everyone’s right to have equal safety regardless of the profession. Being a prostitute doesn’t make you less human, they deserve what we deserve, which is basic safety and protection.
