Thank you to the more-than 72,000 people who signed our petition asking Disney to represent children with Down syndrome in their movies! Disney has responded to your signatures, letting us know that the studio is "committed to continuing to create characters that are accessible and relatable to all children."
That's a good start, but we need a commitment from the company. That's why we're taking Delaney on her first visit to Disneyland this Thanksgiving, and will stop by Disney's headquarters on Wednesday, November 26, to deliver your signatures - and we'd love for you to join the delivery! Delaney and her sister will be wearing Disney costumes, and it would be so much fun t if your family could too.
