We, the community, demand that S&G Realty CO provide the tenants of 2069 Nostrand Ave. with better and more consistent, monthly, building-wide extermination over the course of two days – on a weekday and a weekend day – in addition to providing overdue repairs.
Tenants have reported to the 2069 Nostrand Ave Tenant Association that there is an ongoing mice and roach problem due to lack of consistent, building-wide extermination.There have also been numerous complaints of inadequate repairs, including collapsing ceilings, broken door frames, and broken windows throughout the building. The current exterminator used by S&G Realty has clearly proven ineffective. The tenants association has several photographs documenting mouse droppings and captured mice, along with other evidence of continued issues with rodents. To make sure tenants are able to avail themselves of the free extermination services the landlord claims to offer twice a month, they have suggested two scheduled extermination dates per month, one on the weekend and one on a weekday, to respect the religious and cultural diversity of the building. They are also demanding S&G Realty carry out necessary repairs throughout the building in a timely manner.
We want the extermination demands met and repairs to begin effectively, the first week of December 2018.
