Help Save UBER and LYFT in Hawaii

City proposal Bill 85 would effectivly do away with the ride sharing apps Uber and Lyft by regulating them to the same restrictions as a Cab, thus raising rates and destroying the income opportunities for thousands. The bill will also ban using GPS to estimate the cost of travel, which only serves to take away from the customer. Ride sharing apps like Uber and Lyft are forward thinking companies that help to lower cost and provide for the consumer with innovations like GPS and driver rating. Please help show support for companies that are trying to create jobs and lower the cost of transportation here in Hawaii. The bill will go to the full Council for more discussion, then back to the Transportation committee, let's show them how many people want Uber and Lyft in HawaiI by signing this petition.
