We Strongly Support the Expansion of Association Healthcare Plans (AHP's)

Proposed rules, which grew out of an executive order issued by President Trump last October, would broaden the types of groups that could form association health plans with the goal of expanding affordable coverage options for small businesses and the self-employed.

SALA joins in the call to allow associations of all types to provide health insurance to members through Association Health Plans (AHPs). No industry segment may be more positively impacted than the nearly 200,000 nonprofit organizations that are considered "small associations" by the Small Association Leadership Alliance.
