Demand Equality in Government Shutdowns

If the government shuts down and our military and civilian workers are forced to work without pay or be furloughed, it is only fair and right that congress should not receive pay during that time as well. They are in fact THE GOVERNMENT and therefore should also be forced to work towards a resolution without pay! Since it is their decisions that effect the rest of the country it is only fair their decisions should affect themselves also! I therefore, demand that congress and all its employees, and the employees of all senators and House members be forced to go without pay without any retroactive reimbursement for their time! Maybe then they will be more willing to compromise and work together for the greater good of the CITIZENS of the Republic of the United States of America!
