Animal Fighting Charges

If we were able to raise the Penalty of Animal Fighting Charges to a Felony of the 1st degree Max Jail Time 10 years Max Fine $20,000.00.

Which is currently only a Misdemeanor of the 1st degree Max Jail Time 180 days Max Fine $1,000.00.

I'd be willing to bet we wouldn't have as many of these so called vicious Pitbull or Pitbull type dogs running around lose Which would lead to less Dog attacks

Then just maybe we "Animal Lovers" would no longer have to worry about Breed Specific Legislation

Breed Specific Legislation is simply based upon appearance any Breed of Dog that is over 40lbs an looks like it could cause fatal injury's then it follows under Breed Specific Legislation

How long before your dog is added to the list an is No longer Welcome within city areas?
