Tell Trump & McConnell — Don't you dare let states go bankrupt while you bail out your wealthy corporate donors!

Just over a decade after he fought President Obama's $689 billion stimulus package that stopped the United States from plunging into a full-scale depression, Senate Leader Mitch McConnell has fast-tracked more than five times that amount in emergency relief funds.

The differences are neither in the stakes nor the effect on nation's deficit. It's not even solely about trying to deny Obama a victory and hand one to Trump (though that's certainly part of it).

It's because massive amounts of this emergency package went to major corporations, the wealthy, and frankly, those who need it the least. McConnell is thrilled.

But when it comes to states, whose revenues are plunging in this crisis, McConnell sang a very different tune, telling Hugh Hewitt, "I would certainly be in favor of allowing states to use the bankruptcy route."

After tax scam pumped billions into the pockets that already had the most and the $2 trillion pandemic relief package exploited by multinational corporations while families struggled to put food on the table, this is no benign threat.

States pay firefighters, teachers, police, public health workers — many of the people who have been risking their lives to keep us safe, before and during this crisis. That's who McConnell is talking about bankrupting.

Don't let him get away with it! Add your name to tell Trump and McConnell not to let states go bankrupt while they bail out their wealthy corporate donors!
