Demand the Massachusetts Legislature keep housing local!

We have a housing crisis in our cities.

One size does not fit all — every city and town in Massachusetts is unique. The Welcome Home Coalition believes cities and towns know what is best for their residents when it comes to regulating Short Term rentals.

Short-term rental platforms such as Airbnb can be an economic lifeline to residents throughout the Commonwealth. Residents of Massachusetts should have the right to rent out their own homes, and local governments should have the final decision about how short-term rentals work and how they may impact us.

We must preserve the ability for Massachusetts residents to rent their home on short term rental sites like Airbnb and prohibit commercial developers and out-of-state investors from taking advantage of our welcoming spirit.
