South Korea plans to kill cats and dogs to try and prevent the spread of bird flu after an outbreak of the deadly H5N1 virus at a chicken farm last week. "Animal health experts, suggest it is[ "a bit of an extreme measure" ]since there is NO scientific evidence that suggests that cats or dogs can pass the virus to humans". South Korea plans to slaughter pigs, all dogs, and cats in the outbreak site in Iksan by Thursday 11/30/06 .Tell South Korea that this is not the right step in the prevention of a Bird Flu outbreak. Murdering innocent animals is not a cure for disease. It only creates a bigger health risk then searching for a cure.
