Demand an end to the militarization of local police departments and throwing flashbangs in baby crib

On May 28th the Cornelia, GA PD SWAT team executed a no-knock warrant on a home on drug charges. They were looking for a suspect accused of selling meth to a cop, but instead threw a flash-bang that landed in the crib of a 19 month old baby, the son of in-laws staying in the home. The baby suffered horrific burns, a collapsed lung, permanent scarring and had to be put into a medically induced coma. No arrests were made and no drugs were seized.

The militarziation of our local, state and federal police forces MUST STOP NOW. The do not need military weapons and gear in their roles as peace officers, nor should they employ military tactics against citizens, civilians and tax payers to whom they are (supposedly) accountable.
